Celia Yan is a Partner and Head of APAC Hybrid at Apollo, leading the firm’s hybrid investment platform across Asia Pacific. She drives the origination, execution and growth of hybrid strategies, while building on the firm’s momentum in delivering flexible, tailored capital solutions across private markets. 

 

Previously, Celia served as Head of APAC Private Credit at BlackRock, the Portfolio Manager for the firm's APAC Private Credit funds and Chair of the Investment Committee. She played an instrumental role in building the platform, originating and executing investments, and managing key regional relationships. Celia also held leadership positions on BlackRock's APAC Operating Committee (APOP) and Global Private Debt Executive Committee.

 

Prior to BlackRock, Celia was Head of Greater China at ADM Capital, where she oversaw the firm's investment strategy and specialized in private credit investments involving China-linked opportunities across Asia and globally. Celia also worked in National Australia Bank (NAB) and Equity trustees (EQT) in Melbourne, Australia.

 

Celia holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Applied Econometrics from Monash University.
