Mr. Simoes joined Apollo in 2025 on the U.S. Sponsor Origination team, responsible for sourcing credit and structured equity investment opportunities among private equity backed companies. Prior to that time, Mr. Simoes was a Managing Director in the Sourcing & Origination Group at Oaktree Capital Management. Prior thereto, Mr. Simoes was a Vice President in the Financial & Strategic Investors Group at Goldman Sachs, was a Credit Analyst at King Street Capital Management and was an Associate in the Financial Sponsors Group at Credit Suisse. Mr. Simoes received a B.A. in political science from Middlebury College.
