Chris Edson is a Partner and Global Head of Origination at Apollo. In this role, Chris oversees Apollo's $300 billion per annum origination ecosystem, spanning Corporate, Sponsor, and origination platform capabilities. He is also a member of the Firm's Leadership Team. Throughout his career, he has led numerous debt, equity, and hybrid investments across multiple industries, including the build out of Apollo's 16 origination platforms. Chris serves on the boards of directors for ATLAS SP Partners, MidCap Financial, and Wheels.

Prior to joining Apollo in 2008, Chris was a member of the Financial Institutions Investment Banking group at Goldman Sachs & Co. He graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Finance.

Chris resides in New York City with his wife and three young children.
