Yael Levy is a Partner and Chief Compliance Officer at Apollo Global Management, Inc., and a member of the Firm’s Leadership Team.

Prior to joining Apollo in 2021, Yael spent 20 years at Goldman Sachs in a variety of senior compliance roles, most recently serving as Managing Director and Deputy Co‑Head of Compliance for the Merchant Banking Division. In that role, she supported Goldman’s primary alternative investing platforms and co‑managed a global team of compliance professionals.

Yael is a graduate of New York University Stern School of Business and holds a JD from New York Law School. Before beginning her professional career, she served as an Aerial Photography Specialist with the rank of Sergeant in the Israeli Defense Air Force.

Yael is s a co‑founder of Apollo’s Friends of the Jewish Community (AJFC) and serves on the boards of Hope’s Door and the Youth Renewal Fund and remains actively involved with several other charitable organizations.
