Shari Verschell is Partner & Senior Tax Counsel at Apollo, where she focuses on tax structuring for the Firm’s Yield business. Shari also serves on the steering committee for Apollo Women Empower (AWE). Prior to joining in 2012, she was Tax Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, and a tax associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP before that.
Shari graduated from Brandeis University with a BA in Political Science and received her JD magna cum laude from Cornell Law School.
