Sean C. Brennan is Executive Vice President Head of Pension Group Annuity and Flow Reinsurance of Athene, where he is responsible for overseeing strategic development. Prior to assuming his current role in 2020, Sean served as Senior Vice President and Head of Pension Risk Transfer. Before joining Athene, he served as Global Pensions Director for Marsh & McLennan Companies, responsible for developing and implementing its global pension strategy, and oversaw $15 billion in global asset-liability management. Previously, he held leadership roles at Mercer, including Partner in the Financial Strategy Group.
Sean received his BA in Mathematics and Political Science from Emory University. He is a CFA Charterholder and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries.
