Michael Pagano is a Partner in Client and Product Solutions and the Head of Third-Party Insurance Client Management.  In this role, Mike is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of Apollo’s external insurance client relationships including capital formation, strategy, and service.  Prior to joining Apollo in 2022, Mike spent 12 years at Voya Investment Management in various roles of increasing responsibility including Managing Director and Head of Insurance Portfolio Management in which he oversaw the management of all internal and external insurance investment portfolios. Prior to Voya, Mike was a Managing Director and the Head of the Portfolio Specialist Group at New York Life Investments. 

Mike is a member of the Board of Directors of the Council for Economic Education, a non-profit organization whose mission is to teach K-12 students about personal finance and economics so they can make better decisions for themselves, their families, and their communities.  Mike holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
