Martin Kelly

Martin Kelly is Chief Financial Officer of Apollo Global Management, with financial oversight of Apollo Asset Management and Athene, including treasury, investor relations, strategic finance, tax, and audit. Martin serves on Apollo's Executive Committee and Leadership Team. Since joining Apollo in 2012, Martin has guided the Firm's financial strategy through a period of significant growth and transformation. From 2019 until the completion of the Apollo-Athene merger in 2022, he additionally served as Co-Chief Operating Officer.

 

Prior to Apollo, Martin was with Barclays Capital from 2008 to 2012, where he most recently served as Managing Director, CFO of the Americas, and Global Head of Financial Control for the Corporate and Investment Bank. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Lehman Brothers and was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

 

Martin is a member of the Board of Directors of The US Olympic and Paralympic Foundation and The Pat Tillman Foundation, the Board of Trustees of The Hotchkiss School, the National Council of The National Park Foundation, and the Executive Committee of The Boston College Wall Street Council.

 

Martin was educated in Australia, earning a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from the University of New South Wales (1988) and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia (1990).
