Lauren Coape-Arnold is Global Head of Citizenship at Apollo and the Executive Director of the Apollo Opportunity Foundation. Since joining Apollo, she has been responsible for developing, launching and executing a comprehensive and strategic social impact program. Prior to joining in 2019, she was Managing Director and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Guggenheim Partners, where she launched and grew the Firm's CSR practice. Previously, Lauren was a Foundation Officer at Two Sigma, where she managed the private philanthropy of the Firm's two co-chairmen through the Overdeck Family Foundation and Siegel Family Endowment. She also served as Director of the Maverick Capital Foundation. Before transitioning into the social sector, Lauren was an associate in Maverick Capital's Investor Relations department and an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers.
Lauren received her BA magna cum laude in Psychology and French from Amherst College and her MBA from the Yale School of Management. She was named a New York Business Journal “Woman of Influence” (2016) and a City & State “Responsible 100” (2017), and is a graduate of Echoing Green’s Direct Impact experiential leadership program.
Lauren currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Amherst College Society of Alumni.
