Jonathan Simon is Managing Director and Global Head of Leadership Development & Diversity at Apollo.  Prior to joining the Firm, Jonathan was Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase, and previously held roles in Corporate & Investment Banking at Citigroup.

Jonathan earned a BS degree in Finance from Morehouse College. He currently serves on the board of the ALTFinance Foundation that governs Apollo’s funding of the ALTFinance initiative focused on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).  He also sits on the board of directors of BRAVEN, on the Advisory Board for the Howard University School of Business Honors Program, and on the Acquisitions Committee and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility Committee of the Montclair Art Museum. Jonathan previously served as the Chair of the Montclair Public Library Foundation, as Trustee of Bloomfield College, and on the boards of the Council of Urban of Professionals, Succeed2Gether, and the Associates Council of Prep for Prep.
