Prior to joining Apollo, Indranil was Managing Director and Head of Asia Special Situations at Cerberus Capital Management, where he founded and led the India, Southeast Asia, and Middle East credit business with a focus on special situations and high yield credit. Before Cerberus, he was a Principal at AION Funds, Apollo’s India Special Situations Fund, where he led investments across structured lending, structured debt and equity, and buyouts. Earlier in his career, Indranil held roles at Citigroup Venture Capital International, Lehman Brothers, Citigroup, and ICICI Bank.

Indranil holds a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction from Mumbai University and is a Chartered Accountant. Outside of family and work, he spends much of his free time either chasing balls on the padel court or throwing them for his Labradoodle, Piccolo.
