Ian Bell is a Partner and Head of the Institutional Client Group, Asia-Pacific at Apollo, where he spearheads a region-wide team providing institutional investor coverage and product management for Apollo’s suite of funds across private equity, private debt and real assets. Prior to joining Apollo in 2021, Ian served as Managing Director and Responsible Officer of Evercore Asia. He also held senior roles for Credit Suisse’s Fixed Income Division, focusing on the Asia Pacific region, and was in the Global Market Division of Deutsche Bank prior to that.

Ian earned an Executive MBA from both the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and also holds a First Class Honours Degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Western Australia. He was named one of Private Equity International’s 40 under 40 Future Leaders of Private Equity in 2021.
