Ryo Hata is a Managing Director, Private Equity at Apollo.  Since joining Apollo in 2017, he has worked in both the Hong Kong and Tokyo offices.  Ryo currently serves on the board of directors of Altemira and previously served on the board of MAFTEC.  Prior to joining Apollo, Ryo was a member of the private equity team at CVC Capital Partners.  Earlier in his career, he worked in the UK and Japan at DC Advisory and Daiwa Securities SMBC.  Ryo graduated from Juntendo University.
