Patrick Ryan

Patrick Ryan is Partner and Co-Chief Credit Officer at Apollo, where he is responsible for credit investment decisions, remedial management and overseeing underwriting processes across Apollo's Credit business and its Origination Platform companies. Mr. Ryan sits on all of Credit's Investment Committees and is Co-Chair of its Large Investment Committee which spans the Credit business and considers the largest, most complex transactions. Mr. Ryan is a member of Apollo Asset Management's Global Risk Committee and Investment Practices Committee. Before joining in 2015, Patrick was Chief Risk Officer of Citibank, N.A., and also served as Citigroup's Institutional Client Group's Chief Credit Officer and Chief Risk Officer of Citi’s Europe, Middle East & Africa region.

Patrick graduated with a BA in History from Wesleyan University and received his MBA from Columbia University. He is a member of Wesleyan University's Athletic Advisory Council and is a founder of Staten Island ACHIEVE Dollars for Scholars.
