Max Siegel is a Managing Director in Apollo's Institutional Client & Product Solutions business and is a member of the team responsible for growing the firm's business providing investment management solutions to third party insurance companies.
Prior to joining Apollo, Max spent over 9 years in BlackRock's FIG business where he was most recently the Deputy Head of the Life & Annuity Practice, helping to grow and maintain the firm's general account investment management relationships and activities with clients in the segment.
Before joining BlackRock, Max was part of the Financial Institutions Group at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation where he spent time in both New York and Tokyo. Max began his career at First Republic Bank, where he was a member of a team that provided unsecured loans and lines of credit to professional services firms and their employees.
Outside of work, Max serves on the Board of Trustees for Berwick Academy, an independent K-12 school located in southern Maine. Max is a CFA charter holder and graduated from Fordham University.
