Matt Perrignon is a Managing Director in Client & Product Solutions at Apollo, based in Sydney, where he leads the firm's Insitutional client coverage efforts across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Matt spent 14 years at Credit Suisse where he worked across several roles - Head of Pension Coverage Group Australia, Head of Asset Management Distribution Asia Pacific (ex-Japan), and most recently Head of the Private Funds Group in Australia. Matt has been covering the Australian institutional market for over 25 years, and earlier in his career held client coverage roles at Challenger, Perpetual and Macquarie Bank.
Matt graduated from Macquarie University in 1989 with a BEC. He also received a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. In 2021, Matt successfully completed his CAIA I exam.
