Mr. Rooney is a Managing Director within the Client & Product Solutions Group responsible for Apollo’s Wealth Management relationships. Prior to joining in 2021, Mr. Rooney joined from Nuveen where he was a Vice President focused on expanding their alternative investment footprint across their distribution business. Prior to that, he worked at Blackstone building their Independent Wealth Management channel within Private Wealth Solutions, as well as Morgan Stanley’s Investor Relations Alternative Investment Group.

Mr. Rooney received both a BS in Finance and MBA in Management from Wagner College.
