Katie Newman is Partner & Senior Tax Counsel at Apollo. Prior to joining in 2010, Katie practiced at the law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.
Katie graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and received a JD from Georgetown University Law Center. Katie serves on the board of directors for Women’s Justice Initiative, a non-profit focused on education, access to legal services and gender-based violence prevention.
