Kate Friedmann is Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer in Human Capital at Apollo. Prior to joining in 2019, Kate was Director of Organizational Development at AllianceBernstein where she was responsible for leading talent, culture and employee engagement initiatives across the firm. Previously, Kate held HR and change management roles at NewsCorp and Goldman Sachs. She started her career in consulting at EY, followed by Deloitte, where she partnered with clients across industries to design and implement strategic human capital programs.

Kate graduated from Emory University with a BA degree in Psychology and Spanish and received her MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
