Mr. Kaplan joined Apollo in 2015 and is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Income Strategies Group. Mr. Kaplan is primarily responsible for the sourcing, diligence, and execution of the group’s investment activities. Prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Kaplan was an Analyst in Citigroup’s Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking Group, where he participated in numerous debt, equity and strategic advisory assignments on behalf of public and private real estate companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kaplan was an Analyst in the Telecommunications Investment Banking Group at Oppenheimer & Co. Mr. Kaplan graduated from Cornell University with a BA in Economics.
