John DeRosa is Managing Director, Finance at Apollo. Prior to joining Apollo, John was Head of Tax for the Americas for Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for all tax planning and reporting for Deutsche Bank's operations in the US, Latin America and Canada. Previously, he was the Global Head of Tax for Lehman Brothers, and a tax partner in the Financial Services group of Ernst & Young where his practice focused on inbound banks. John has also held positions as the head of tax for The Bank of New York, and in the tax structuring unit at Morgan Stanley.

John earned his BA in Political Science from Haverford College, and his MBA in Accounting from Rutgers University. He is a CPA.
