Jamshid Ehsani is Partner, Head of Global Principal Structured Finance at Apollo and Chairman of ACRA group of insurance companies. He is responsible for Apollo’s portfolio investment in Principal Structured Finance, including its global direct origination effort in High Grade Capital Solutions, generating multi-billion-dollar capital solutions for large corporations globally. Jamshid also oversees all Insurance Linked Assets, including Apollo/Athene Diversified Investment Partnership Franchise (ADIP) and the Financial Credit Investment Family of Funds. Prior to joining Apollo in 2010, Jamshid served in a number of senior positions at multinational organizations, including Swiss Re and UBS. Previously, he was with The World Bank, where he held various positions including Principal Financial Officer.  Jamshid was also Global Head, Derivatives and Emerging Markets Sales & Structuring, Citicorp.  As well as President and CEO of Marsh McLennan Securities and MMC Enterprise Risk Management.

Jamshid holds a Doctorate Degree in Energy Economics from Sorbonne University and École Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs and a post-MSc degree from the French Petroleum Institute engineering school. He is the author of three publications and has lectured at the Sorbonne University.
