Donna Machado is Managing Director, Human Capital, at Apollo, where she is primarily responsible for the people strategy for Europe & Asia Pacific. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Donna served as Group Head of HR at Quintet Private Bank where she built out the bank’s people strategy. Donna also held senior HR roles at RBS, Coutts, Renaissance Group, Goldman Sachs, and Fidelity. She began her career in HR at General Electric. Donna has extensive international experience, having spent time living and working across Europe, the US, Asia, and India.

Donna is a graduate of Kingston University with a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources. Donna is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and was a trustee of Visionary and currently a board member for a startup GrandBequest.
