Dion Christopoulos is a Managing Director in Client and Product Solutions where he focuses on Apollo’s external insurance asset management franchise in Europe. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Dion spent 18 years at Zurich Insurance Group in various roles across the value chain of insurance investment management with focus on alternatives, including as Executive Director and Head of Balance Sheet Solutions for Private Debt in which he oversaw the development of Private Debt and Private Infrastructure Equity solutions for the Group balance sheets. Prior to Zurich, Dion was a Senior Associate at Morgan Stanley.

Dion holds an MSc in Financial Mathematics from the Warwick Business School and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Athens. He is a CFA charterholder.
