David Wright is a Managing Director in Client and Product Solutions, focused on Asset Backed Finance Strategies.

Prior to Apollo, David was Managing Partner at Scott Peak Capital, a merchant banking and capital placement firm, focused on direct credit financings and private credit funds. Prior to forming Scott Peak, David was Partner at C12 Capital LLC, a structured credit hedge fund, where he led business development, strategy, and sat on the investment committee.  Prior to C12, David spent 15 years in distribution and management at Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank, focused on securitized products and structured credit. 

David additionally serves on the advisory board of a non-profit, Brighter Children, and on the board of another non-profit, Komera.  He received a B.A. from Colby College and is a CFA Charterholder.
