Courtney Garcia is a Partner and Head of Portfolio Risk at Apollo, where she oversees portfolio-level risk management across the firm’s investment strategies.

Before joining Apollo in 2021, Courtney spent 14 years at PIMCO, where she served as Executive Vice President and Portfolio Risk Manager. During her tenure, she was responsible for investment and counterparty risk oversight and led key firmwide initiatives, including the LIBOR transition. Earlier in her career, she worked in the CDO Structuring group at Barclays Capital.

Courtney serves on the Board of the Bronx Children’s Museum. She holds a Master of Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University.
