Al Youssef joined Apollo in 2025 as a Managing Director to lead Enterprise Solutions Engineering, and he currently also co-leads the Engineering Infrastructure, Core Engineering and Cyber organization. Prior to joining Apollo, Al led Finance and Risk Data Platforms at Citi, and before that he held multiple global technology leadership roles at JP Morgan Chase, including leadership for Corporate Finance Tech, Compliance Tech, and Finance & Risk Data Platforms.  Al started his career as a software engineer at Goldman Sachs, and after spending his early career working with multiple Fixed Income trading desks, Al held global leadership roles across several Enterprise technology functions including Finance, Market Risk, Compliance, Settlement Operations, Legal, and Enterprise Architecture.  Al also helped Goldman establish its first Enterprise Data Lake.

Al earned dual BS degrees in Computer Science Engineering and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
