Tetsuji Okamoto is Lead Investment Partner, Japan and Lead Partner for Asia Pacific Private Equity at Apollo. Prior to joining in 2019, Tetsuji was Managing Director at Bain Capital, where he was a member of the Asia Pacific Private Equity team and oversaw execution processes for new deals and existing portfolio companies in Japan. Previously, he worked at Ripplewood Holdings and at Merrill Lynch Japan’s Investment Banking division.

Tetsuji graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with a BS in Computer Science and BA in Economics.
