Shankar is a Managing Director in the Hybrid Credit team where he primarily focuses on investments in the digital infrastructure, business services, and gaming sectors. Prior to joining Apollo in 2022, Shankar was a Principal at Onex in its Opportunistic Credit Group. Previously, he was an analyst at Davidson Kempner focused on distressed debt and special situations. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lazard in its Restructuring practice.

Shankar graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Finance & Accountancy.
