Sammy Asoli is Managing Director at Apollo Global Management. He is responsible for advancing the strategic growth of Apollo’s global portfolio finance platform, leading efforts to provide capital solutions for private equity, private credit, and real asset managers.

Prior to joining Apollo in 2025, Sammy served as Global Head of Fund Finance Solutions at SMBC, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the firm’s presence across subscription facilities, NAV lending, and hybrid fund finance solutions. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Lloyds Banking Group, J.P. Morgan, The Blackstone Group, and Goldman Sachs, where he focused on fund finance, fund structuring, capital raising, private equity valuation, and corporate strategy.

Sammy holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in International Economic Policy and Management from Columbia University. He currently serves on the Board of the Fund Finance Association, a leading non-profit organization representing the fund finance market.
