Mr. Nirula joined Apollo in 2023 in the Insurance Solutions Group and is responsible for Portfolio Management of third-party Insurance client portfolios. Prior to this, Mr. Nirula managed general account asset portfolios for Swiss Re, SCOR, Resolution Life, and Everest with particular focus on Credit markets. Prior to his experience with Insurance portfolios, Mr. Nirula held a number of roles while at Lehman Brothers (and Neuberger Berman) between 2001 and 2010.

Mr. Nirula graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BA in Economics and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the United Way of Northern New Jersey.
