Rodney Thomas is Managing Director, Credit at Apollo, which he joined in 2014 as a member of the Emerging Markets team. Previously, he was the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA) Credit Analyst on the Emerging Markets Credit Trading Desk at Citigroup. Prior to that, Rodney was a member of the Emerging Markets Credit team at Thames River Capital, worked at Citigroup in fixed income origination, and was previously a US diplomat serving at US Embassies in Abu Dhabi, Tunisia and Yemen.

Rodney holds a BA in Economics and History from Amherst College and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
