Dr. Rajesh T Krishnamachari joined Apollo in 2026 in Credit and is responsible for leading Quantitative Analytics. Prior to that time, Dr. Krishnamachari was at GIC in Singapore from 2021 onwards, where he founded and led the Investment Insights Group, focused on utilizing big/alternative data, statistical techniques and AI to drive investment decision making across public and private markets. In this role, he directed the Front Office quant research and technology teams and served on the firm’s Corporate Management Committee. Earlier in his career, Dr. Krishnamachari served as Managing Director and Global Head of Data Science for Bank of America Securities LLC and was an adjunct faculty at NYU teaching graduate courses on AI/Machine Learning. He began his career at the volatility trading desk at JP Morgan, before moving to cover Macro, Quantitative and Derivative Strategies for JPMorgan’s #1 I.I. ranked research division.

Dr. Krishnamachari graduated from I.I.T Madras with a B. Tech degree in Electrical Engineering and received his M.S/Ph.D. degrees from University of Colorado at Boulder.
