Mark Schmahl is Managing Director, Credit in the Corporate Fixed Income group at Apollo, where he is responsible for research coverage of bank, broker, and non-bank financial sectors. Prior to joining in 2013, Mark was a senior securities analyst at Aviva Investors, and a senior research analyst at OneAmerica before that. Previously, Mark served in various credit and management-related roles with National City Bank and Fifth Third Bank.

Mark graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Economics and received his MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder.
