Kunal Singal is a Managing Director in the FIG team, with a focus on financial services and insurance-related opportunities. Kunal joined Apollo in 2021 and currently serves on the boards of Athene Life Re and ACRA.

Prior to Apollo, Mr. Singal was a Director in the Financial Services Private Equity Group at Varde Partners, and an investment analyst at Och Ziff Capital Management investing across opportunistic credit with a focus on financial services companies and assets. Mr. Singal started his career at Nomura in New York.

Mr. Singal holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad where he graduated with industry scholarships, and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
