Mr. Cancro is a Managing Director and Head of Strategic Finance at Apollo. Mr. Cancro was formerly the Chief Financial Officer of Apollo Aligned Alternatives ("AAA"), Private Equity, Hybrid Value, S3 Secondaries and FIG Platforms, and previously was the Senior Controller of Apollo’s flagship Private Equity funds. Prior to joining Apollo in 2007, Mr. Cancro was a Senior Associate in the Alternative Investments Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he supervised the audits of private equity and hedge fund clients. Mr. Cancro graduated from Bentley University with a BS in Accounting Information Systems and received an MS in Accounting from the McCallum Graduate School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and Connecticut, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and is a member of the AICPA and New York State Society of CPA’s.
