Jeremy Ellermeyer is Managing Director, Credit at Apollo, where he is responsible for working with the global credit and insurance leaders to define, execute, and manage business strategies and operations. Prior to joining Apollo, Jeremy spent twenty years with MetLife where he most recently served as Head of Business Planning and Product Development for MetLife Investment Management and as Chief Investment Officer for MetLife’s Retirement Plans. During his tenure with MetLife, he also served as a senior member of the Alternatives Unit where he built MetLife's proprietary hedge fund program, as Chief of Staff for the Investments Department, and as head of MetLife’s Index Strategies Group. Prior to MetLife, Jeremy spent six years in the Structured Investments Group at UBS Asset Management and two years in an executive development program at the Bank of New York.

Jeremy received his undergraduate degree from Mount Saint Mary's University with a double major in Finance and Economics and holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University. He is a Trustee Emeritus of Mount St. Mary's University where he Chaired their Master Planning and Investment Committees for 9 years.
