Mr. Genrich joined Apollo in 2026 as a Partner and Head of Software Sector. He helps lead technology investing for Private Equity while playing an active role in technology investing across the broader Apollo platform. Prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Genrich was an Equity Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager at Elliott Investment Management where he led the technology team and served on the firm's Global Investment Committee. Previously, Mr. Genrich was a private equity investor on the TMT team at GTCR and an investment banking analyst on the technology M&A team at Evercore Partners. Mr. Genrich has served on the public boards of Switch and Crown Castle and has served on numerous private boards, including Cloud Software Group.

Mr. Genrich graduated from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.
