Helen is Head of UK Middle Market Lending at European Credit Company (ECC). She brings 19 years of experience in leveraged finance and direct lending and is a seasoned credit professional with deep expertise in sponsor-backed mid-market transactions across the UK market. Prior to joining ECC, Helen spent over a decade at Investec Bank, most recently as Head of UK Origination, responsible for deal generation, sponsor relationship management and strategic direction for the UK cashflow lending business.

Earlier in her career, Helen spent nearly seven years at Barclays Bank, progressing from Leveraged Finance Origination in the Financial Sponsors Group to Vice President in Debt Finance Origination, executing leveraged loans and event-driven transactions across a range of mid-market and large-cap sponsors. She holds a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University.
