Dror Karidi is a Generalist Operating Partner in Apollo Portfolio Performance Solutions (APPS) and specializes in driving investment outcomes across value creation initiatives, collaboratively with investment teams.

Before joining Apollo in 2024, Mr. Karidi was a Managing Director at Oaktree Capital Management where he oversaw diligence, complex turnarounds and growth initiatives across three funds, and served on the board of directors of various portfolio companies. Prior thereto, he was General Manager at United States Steel, leading the $2B construction business, President and CEO of Alasko Foods and Senior Director of pricing and operational strategy at U.S. Foods. Before that, he was an Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company where he served companies in the industrial, agricultural, chemical, technology and logistics sectors. Earlier in his career, Mr. Karidi worked as an attorney focused on corporate, labor and real estate law. Additionally, Mr. Karidi is a veteran of Israel Defense Forces, Intelligence Corps.

Mr. Karidi received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and an LL.B. and a B.A from Tel-Aviv University.
