Don Bindler is Managing Director, Real Assets at Apollo, where he is a portfolio manager for commercial real estate credit. Don has a senior leadership position managing Apollo's ~$40 billion of loans in the United States, including overseeing loan modifications and restructurings. Prior to joining Apollo in 2019, Don was Senior Vice President and Partner at H/2 Capital Partners and a Director at Hypo Real Estate Capital before that. Earlier in his career, Don held both debt and equity positions in commercial real estate finance.

Don is an active supporter of veteran and marine conservation causes. He is on the Board of Directors of Force Blue, an organization that unites the community of Special Operations veterans with the world of marine conservation. He is the co-head of the Apollo Veterans Network, along with managing a grant from the Apollo Opportunity Foundation to The Honor Foundation.

Don has a dual degree, MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School. Don graduated magna cum laude from Colby College with a BA degree in Economics-Mathematics.
