Mr. Harwood joined Apollo in 2022 in Apollo Portfolio Performance Solutions (APPS) and is responsible for leading APPS in EMEA. He has been involved with numerous Private Equity deals and sits on the boards of Ingenico and The Restaurant Group.

Prior to that time, Mr. Harwood was a Managing Director in Portfolio Operations at Centerbridge Partners from 2016 to 2022, where he led value creation activities across Software, Business Services and Industrial Services across PE, Credit and Real Estate. Mr. Harwood worked in both the New York and London offices and was a member of several portfolio company boards.

Prior to that, Mr. Harwood was a Principal in the Value Enhancement Group at Doughty Hanson Private Equity from 2012 to 2016. Prior to Doughty Hanson Mr Harwood led the Strategy and Operations Development team as part of the turnaround at Dixons Retail Group, Europe's largest specialist retailer. Prior to Dixons, he spent time in consulting at Accenture.

Mr. Harwood graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with a BSc Hons degree in Computer Aided Product Design and completed the executive education Corporate Finance course at London Business School.
