Alexis Underwood is a Managing Director at Apollo and a member of Apollo Portfolio Performance Solutions (APPS), where she focuses on commercial excellence and value creation across portfolio companies. She partners with investment teams and portfolio company leadership to accelerate organic growth and EBITDA performance through go-to-market strategy, sales effectiveness, pricing and commercial transformation.

Prior to joining Apollo in 2026, Ms. Underwood was an Operating Partner at Wynnchurch Capital, where she developed and led commercial value creation and diligence across the firm's mid-market industrial portfolio. Previously, she held senior executive roles in commercial and general management across various Koch Industries companies with a focus on consumer goods and industrial sector companies.  Earlier in her career, she worked in strategy consulting at Oliver Wyman.

Ms. Underwood holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
