Arturo Poire is Partner, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Apollo’s Credit business, where he is responsible for building and executing the operating model for Apollo Credit, driving firmwide alignment, operational excellence, and innovation via AI transformation. Previously, he served as the Global Head of Talent Development and Lead Human Capital Business Partner for Credit, ACS, Origination and Insurance. In that capacity, he played a key role in shaping Apollo’s talent strategy, organizational design, and leadership development programs. Prior to joining Apollo in 2020, Arturo was Senior Management Associate and Co-Department Head in the Talent Department at Bridgewater Associates LP, where he helped drive firmwide people and culture initiatives, as well as succession planning. Previously, he was Vice President of Human Resources at Ericsson, first as Chief Talent Officer based in Sweden, and then as Head of Human Resources for Market Area North East Asia, based in China. Earlier in his career, Arturo held global executive roles in Human Resources and Talent Management at Marsh & McLennan Companies and Citigroup.
Arturo graduated with Honors from the University of Buenos Aires with a BA in Sociology and received his MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, with a concentration in Finance. He holds certifications from the International Coaching Federation (ACC) and the Human Resources Certification Institute (SPHR).
