Marc Rowan joins Goldman Sachs US Financial Services Conference
Apollo’s CEO gave an informative interview at the recent Goldman Sachs 2021 US Financial Services Conference, highlighting the firm’s achievements in the past year while outlining Apollo’s key priorities in 2022.
“It’s been an amazing year,” he said. “If you look at the scale of what we’ve done, we significantly reset how we run the business, how we compensate people…we have achieved a tremendous amount.”
Of the many opportunities on the horizon, Marc stressed direct origination, the growing insurance business, and the strategy around the retirement services and hybrid markets in Asia-Pacific.
He also discussed Apollo’s rapidly expanding capital solutions business. Marc concluded his remarks by reiterating the importance of culture, which remains a top priority as the firm continues on its growth trajectory.
“We have attracted amazing people to the platform. There’s never been better momentum,” he said.
