Mr. Cordoves is responsible for financial sponsor coverage and origination. Prior to that time, Mr. Cordoves was a Managing Director and Head of Originations and Sponsor Coverage for the direct lending platform at The Carlyle Group. Prior to that, Mr. Cordoves was a Managing Director at MidCap Financial where he was responsible for origination, structuring and underwriting of credit investments. And prior to MidCap, Mr. Cordoves was an investment banker at Credit Suisse.

Mr. Cordoves earned a B.S. and M.B.A. from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.
