Daniel Duval is Managing Director and the General Counsel of Apollo Capital Solutions at Apollo. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Daniel was a Managing Director, and the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Jefferies Finance LLC, where he oversaw the legal and compliance department of the leverage finance and asset management affiliate. Prior to that, Daniel was an attorney in the Bank Finance and Restructuring Group of the international law firm White & Case LLP from, working in New York and in São Paulo, Brazil.
Daniel is a member of the Cornell University Council and is the President and Founder of the Cornell Network of In-House Lawyers. Daniel previously served as the President of the Cornell Law School Alumni Association Executive Board. Daniel graduated from Cornell University’s College of Business - School of Hotel Administration with a B.S. with honors and graduated from Cornell Law School where he received his J.D. with a specialization in international legal affairs.
