Utsav Baijal

Mr. Baijal is a Partner at Apollo and member of the Hybrid Value Team based in Mumbai.  Prior to joining Apollo in 2008, Mr. Baijal was with the Private Equity team at Bain Capital.  Mr. Baijal started his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co. across the New Delhi and Hong Kong offices and was one of the founding members of the Firm’s corporate finance practice in India.  Mr. Baijal has served on the board of directors of JSW Cement, Hero FinCorp, IGT Solutions, Clix Capital, PlanetCast Media Services and DishTV.  Mr. Baijal graduated from St. Stephen’s College with a degree in Economics and received his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA).  He is an Aspen Fellow.
