Troy Spencer is is the Enterprise Solutions Chief Operating Officer for Apollo Insurance Solutions Group (AISG).  He is responsible for advancing initiatives and priorities of AISG executive leadership to ensure AISG is optimally supported and the unique operational, accounting, reporting, data, technology and other requirements of AISG and its insurance company clients are met.   In addition, Troy is responsible for representing AISG’s interests with respect to change initiatives to promote improved efficiency, enhanced scalability, and alignment of critical change initiatives with organizational strategy.  

Prior to joining AISG, Troy spent over 12 years in a variety of senior roles for alternative asset managers including Coast Asset Management, where he spent nearly a decade.  While at Coast, Troy served at various times as General Counsel, Convertible Bond Sales‐Trader, Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Operating Officer.  Troy began his career as a tax attorney focused on complex cross‐border tax structuring and private fund transactions.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Virginia Military Institute, a JD/MBA from the College of William and Mary, and an LLM in Taxation from the New York University School of Law. Troy served for six years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
