Mr. McCartney joined Apollo in 2021 as Head of International Tax. Previously, Mr. McCartney spent 20 years as a tax advisor, becoming a partner at KPMG and then latterly moving to be a partner at EY where his practice focused on alternative funds. Mr. McCartney is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor. He received a degree in chemistry from the University of Nottingham.
